THE MOST COLORFUL PLAYLIST EVER
Inspired by our newest single "Green (Mean Time)," we decided to find out how many of our favorite artists also had songs with colors in the names. Was this a common or rare phenomenon? Did they usually align with a certain kind of song? And it was a very interesting exercise. We learned that, strangely, many great artists have not great color-themed songs (THOSE ARE NOT ON THIS PLAYLIST!) Conversely, we found that some of our favorite bands indeed have amazing color-themed songs. So much so that we couldn’t stop adding songs to the list. So here’s a nice hefty Spotify playlist, nostalgically titled “I Can Sing a Rainbow.” It's a prismatic journey that spans the spectrum of indie greats, power pop, classic alt rock, lush pop--and serves up plenty of vibrant emotional fireworks. Add we added with the incredible Badfinger song which also ended the Breaking Bad series in one of our favorite song placement moments ever.
