Corvair’s second album, Bound to Be was just released on Paper Walls and the cult indiepop label Where It’s At is Where You Are records out of London, UK. Bound to Be features Larimer and Naubert on instruments and vocals, and Northwest powerhouse drummer Mike Musburger (The Posies, Fastbacks). Brian Naubert produced and recorded the album and Martin Feveyear tracked the drums. It was mixed by Beau Sorenson (Death Cab for Cutie, Superchunk) mastered by Justin Perkins and features artwork from award-winning photographer Corey Arnold.
Corvair’s debut album (February 2021 on Paper Walls Records and wiaiwya) was was critically hailed as “giddy, exuberant pop that sweeps and soars and thunders” (Dusted); "dynamic and bombastic, but with infectious, subtle melodies and fascinating lyrical imagery” (American Songwriter); “a promising set of hook-filled indie-pop” (KEXP); "a strong debut with a weird and captivating pop language all their own” (All Music Guide) and "the ideal pop/rock convergence” (Analogue).
