Songs Of the Sea

Hello everyone—

Six days ago, we released our second single off our upcoming album: “Sailor Down” And with it, a very saltwater-themed video filmed all along on the Oregon Coast.

We started wondering if there were a lot of great songs with oceanic themes, and so we went pretty far down the maritime rabbithole (porthole?) and discovered that many of our favorite bands in fact have ocean-themed songs and they’re pretty damn amazing.

Announcing: “Songs of The Sea,” a new playlist featuring 36 modern sea shanties. An epic journey circumnavigating the world of our influences: some old-school punk (Black Flag, Iggy Pop) some canonical greats (Radiohead, M83) and some incredible indie acts (Sea Wolf, Snail Mail).
