Bound to Be Summer

We’ve been so busy promoting our brand-new album we forgot to blog about it. So here goes.

On June 23rd we put out our second full-length album, Bound to Be.

The record was written very unconventionally, in snippets that we then matched and combined with other compatible sections. We were trying to disrupt some muscle memory that we’d created over decades of songwriting, in order to get somewhere new. It worked.

We love this record so much, and got to work with some new collaborators on it, like drummer Mike Musburger, mixer Beau Sorenson and masterer Justin Perkins.

And we got some incredible album art from our pal Corey Arnold, and away-winning photographer (huge thank you to Corey)

The album is available all the familiar places and has had some really wonderful things written about it.

One of our favorite reviews was the incredible writer Jennifer Kelly from Dusted, who said, among other things, "Even the most straightforward of songs have multiple moving parts, with intricate guitar accents and vocal counterparts weaving together in compelling ways, razor sharp but inviting. The sound is, if anything, better than before.” We feel seen.

And by the time we post this, we should have five different videos from the album available on our YouTube channel, and of course you can snag yourself a beautiful clear vinyl copy right here.

Thank you so much for your support, and as always, for listening.
